I Love Love supports City Hospice Utrecht
Love Fuel is very glad to donate 10% of our sales of our I Love Love shirt to the City Hospice in Utrecht, a cause we truly want to support. The Hospice in Utrecht, the Netherlands provides care and love to people that are nearing the end of the lives, and many of the people there do so voluntarily. They create meaningful relations in a short amount of time by talking and looking after the guests when it’s most needed. City Hospice Utrecht x Love Fuel
“What matters most in life? Especially when the end approaches this becomes very clear: love. The love and attention of your family and friends. But also of strangers who are there for you. When you can’t do everything anymore, they are there to wash you, to help you get dressed and even to feed you.
The City Hospice Utrecht is a ‘home away from home’. Guests spend their last days, weeks or months with us before they die. With a group of 80 volunteers, we make sure our guests are as comfortable as possible. Most importantly, there is attention and love. And there is time to connect. To talk about the life they had. Or just to talk about their approaching passing. And we are not only there for the guests, but above all also for their family and friends. Sometimes they have had to care for a long time and with us they can be someone’s husband, wife, or son or daughter again.
Together we spread love every day. And it is so great that Love Fuel wants to support our hospice with their beautiful ‘I Love Love’ shirt.”
